PLEASE READ BEFORE PLACING A BID IN OUR AUCTION!

BIDDING - When you place a bid, you have entered into a legal, binding contract with Jarman Auction Company. You are obligated to pay for the item and any fees and taxes that may apply.

*Please note, our site has an anti-sniping feature that extends the end time of any item that receives a bid in the final 2 minutes. When a bid is placed in the final 2 minutes, an additional 2 minutes will be added. This will continue until there is no competing bid placed and the time expires.*

*Tip - Our site recognizes any bid amount. Meaning that you do not have to enter only whole dollar amounts($5, $10, $20, etc.) By entering an odd amount (for example $50.21), you could win over a previously entered bid of $50. That only works when your entered bid is higher than another bidder's previously entered bid. Once that bid becomes the high bid, normal increments will apply (see Bidding Increments in the website Terms and Conditions at the bottom of each page). So, if the current bid is $100.55, the next increment required to bid will be $110.55.*

PAYMENT - We will charge your credit card on file at the close of the auction. You will receive a PAID invoice. For those whose credit card payment does not go through, you will receive an invoice requesting payment. Payment MUST be made within 24 hours to avoid restriction from bidding in future auctions.

PICK UP - We have made some changes to our pick up policy. Please read carefully BEFORE placing a bid.

1) Winning bidders will have 10 CALENDAR DAYS to pick up their item(s). That allows out-of-town bidders the opportunity to bid in 2 auctions before pick up. We appreciate any buyers that can pick up by the Friday following the auction.

2) On the 11th day following the auction, your item will be FORFEITED. DO NOT COME TO PICK UP AN ITEM ON THE 11TH DAY AS IT WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE. PICK UP THE ITEMS THAT YOU BID ON AND WIN!!!

We have been providing FREE storage for 4 years. Sorry, but we will no longer provide this service for ANYONE. Please make sure that you will be able to make your pickup deadline BEFORE placing a bid. We are very serious about enforcing this rule!

Notes for purchasers of firearms:

No person under the age of 18 may purchase a long gun. No person under 21 may purchase a handgun.

All purchasers of firearms that pick up from our facility must complete ATF Form 4473.

Only the actual purchaser of the firearm may complete Form 4473. You may not complete the form for another individual (wife, father, mother, friend, etc.)

South Carolina residents may pick up handguns or long guns at our location with a valid South Carolina carry permit or with the completion of a NICS background check based on the answers provided on ATF Form 4473.

Buyers must present a legal, valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification. The address on that identification must match the address provided on Form 4473 unless a new address has been obtained. In that case, the buyer must present the photo ID along with a government-issued document showing the new, correct address of the buyer. (For example, you may present a water bill, provided the bill is issued by a city or county government and not by a private company).

Please keep in mind that sometimes NICS background checks are delayed through no fault of our own. In this case, a purchaser may be required to return at a later date to pick up the firearm. We will notify you when we get approval from NICS.

Buyers in the neighboring states of South Carolina (Georgia and North Carolina) are permitted to pick up long guns only. Handguns must be shipped to an FFL holder in their home states. All buyers must present a valid ID and complete form 4473. South Carolina does not honor Carry Permits from other states, so a NICS background check must be conducted at the time of purchase. Buyers in Georgia and North Carolina that purchase handguns must provide an FFL copy so that the firearm can be shipped. Shipping and handling charges will apply.

***For local Georgia bidders that purchase a handgun, for a $10 fee, we will deliver your firearm to Pooler Guns in Pooler GA. They will complete the transfer and charge accordingly. (They charge $40 for a transfer). You may choose to have the firearm shipped to an FFL holder of your choice. Shipping charges will apply.*** WE ARE NO LONGER GEORGIA FFL HOLDERS, ONLY SOUTH CAROLINA.

Out-of-State bidders that purchase firearms must submit a copy of the FFL that will receive the shipped firearm. That copy may be emailed to support@buyorbidonit.com or doug@jarmanauctioncompany.com. No shipments will be made until receipt of the FFL. We will ship as quickly as possible but no sooner than 3 days following the auction to allow credit card payment to clear.

Primitive and antique firearms do not require ATF paperwork. You may pick these items up with no restrictions (except you must be 18). Those items will be noted in the auction. We can ship these items directly to you. Please keep in mind that some of these weapons are long and heavy and will require additional shipping charges based on dimensional weight.

Ammo does not require identification to purchase. You must be 18 to purchase long gun ammo and 21 to purchase handgun ammo. We can ship ammo via UPS Ground flat rate which usually results in a charge of around $15 for small orders.
