As much as you love to watch live auction action by the Hippie auctioneer, this one is an ONLINE ONLY AUCTION. All items are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS – we can’t warranty anything, expressed or implied.
The auction starts to end at 7 PM on Thursday, June 29, 2023. All items are located at The Online Auction Store at Southeastern Trade and Auction Company, 16470 Highway 80 East, Brooklet, Georgia, 30415. Auction closes 2 lots/minute on Thursday, June 29, 2023, starting at 7 PM.
When you register to bid, the credit card you enter will be your ‘card on file’. The Hippie wants everything simple, so payment will be processed by our good friends at Jarman Auction Co at the conclusion of the auction. But remember, pick up your stuff at The Online Auction Store at Southeastern Trade and Auction in Brooklet.
Pick up days are by appointment only on July 6, July 8 and July 10 following the auction close. The Hippie might be there, but he can’t load your car, so bring some help. Remember to bring packing materials and some strong backs to load your furniture and other big stuff you won at this auction. Ya’ll come pick up your stuff by July 15 or it will be forfeited.
Since we got to pay the help and our friends at Jarman, a 15% buyer’s premium will be added to all sales. Invoices will be processed within 24 hours of hammer close and credit card on file will be charged. Invoices must be paid in full before items are picked up. You know the government has to get their share, so all sales are subject to local and state taxes, shipping, and handling (if applicable). If you have paperwork so you don’t have to pay taxes, your tax exempt papers have to be on file with Jarman before the auction closes.
The lawyers told us to let you know this: by bidding on an item on this site, you have entered into a legally binding contract between yourself and Southeastern Trade and Auction Company. Successful bidders who fail to complete a transaction may be blocked or permanently banned from participation in future auctions or sales. All lots are subject to extended-time bidding. We want to be fair, y’all. When last-minute bids are made, time is extended to allow all bidders a chance to make a final bid.
Southeastern Trade and Auction Company reserves the right to remove any listing at any time or to modify descriptions. Sometimes things happen, so should there be any malfunction of the website during an ongoing auction, or should any natural occurrence disrupt the bidder's ability to access the site, we reserve the right to extend or continue the auction or re-list any items affected.
Items will not be shipped or delivered or be available for pick up until payment has been made. Items not paid for (FOR ANY REASON) within 3 days will be forfeited and shall become the property of Southeastern Trade and Auction Company. When a buyer does not pay for an item, buyer’s account will be restricted and said buyer will not be allowed to bid on any future auctions until that account is in good standing. Southeastern Trade and Auction Company reserves the right to resell, donate or otherwise discard unclaimed items. Most of the time, Southeastern Trade and Auction Company will resell items not picked up within the above mentioned pick up dates. We need to move it out and load in some more!
All buyers on BuyorBidOnIt.com agree to hold Southeastern Trade and Auction Company and BuyorBidOnIt.com harmless in any dispute and that any refund or canceled sale constitutes the only remedy for damages. Damages may not under any circumstances exceed the purchase price including the buyer’s premium.
We will try as hard as we can to adequately describe and photograph each item. However, any claims by our buyers of gross description error or misrepresentation must immediately be made to Southeastern Trade and Auction Company. Any returned items must be in the same condition as received. Any refunds will be made by the same method as payment was received.
Southeastern Trade and Auction Company or BuyorBidOnIt.com will not be liable for any damages of any type which may arise from the use of this site. This includes loss or damage to goods sold, lost revenues or profits, or any other damages. Users of this site agree to hold BuyorBidOnIt.com harmless from any claims made by any third party for any seller or user’s failure to adhere to the rules and regulations governing the use of this site.
